Growing up, I was obsessed with stars like Britney Spears and Judy Garland. However, as I grew older, I realized how horribly they were treated. This collection is an exploration of the media and how it can destroy a person's psyche.
    First, I started thinking of the "packaged starlet'. The manner in which these women become "manufactured". My croquis looks confused and spacy because they are trapped in a box designed by men. 
    This topic is extremely serious, and the abuse of these starlets can never be taken lightly. I hope the viewer can leave knowing that nothing is what it seems and that we should always be sympathetic to certain celebrities who are being terribly vilified.
